He makes many new friends and learns about different aspects of life. He learms about friendship and love and fun and heroes. His sweet nature afffects everyone he meets. At the end of the day he comes home happy and content and dreams of his great day.

This is a story of love and devotion by a golden retriever who becomes the guardian angel to a little boy. It takes us through the many stages of childhood and all the possible dangers implied. There is nothing like the protection of a beloved pet. There are many lessons to be learned about how to navigate the perils of growing up and how one sweet animal is there to protect us.

It is really a fun book for kids. The little ones love all the pictures of dogs and the older kids love the story, It is really wonderful to watch a 9 year old read the book to a 5 year old. They would stop and look at the pictures, identify different dogs and other things in the pictures. I think it is a wonderful gift for a birthday or just a visit.
Oh how I love this sweet story! This pup knows how to have an adventure. This book has beautiful and colorful pictures and is fun to read to the littles during story time at school/church or at bedtime. I read this short story in less time it took to open the box it came in! Being an owner of a 12 yr old Golden made the message very touching to me on a personal level, especially since we have four grandchildren that he’s very protective of!! A must read for any Golden Retriever owner, or just any dog owner that has become an integral part of your family!!
I purchased this book for my grandson. For being only 5 he has lost so many pets and we talk about all of them all the time. He lost 2 in a tragic house fire a little over a year ago so that was very traumatic. Then we have lost two of our very old dogs so that is also hard on him. We talk about my lab Shadow so often and look at his photos. So now when we are talking about them I remind him how many angel dogs he has looking out for him! Thanks! I recommend your book.
